Dattasri Nistala MA, Ph. D,
English Trainer

Passionate about teaching engineering students and improving the all round ability of young and budding engineers. My forte is the ability to motivate and infuse energy among the learners. I strongly believe in multiple intelligences and exhort the students to explore their strengths in order to utilize their skills for professional excellence.

At present I am working for Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Science, one of the prestigious engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh, as an English Trainer.

Worked for Raghu Educational Institutions for around six years. It was a memorable experience training students for various competitions, anchoring international conferences, conducting various training programs for engineering students.

My most cherished teaching experience is training students for CAT, GRE, GMAT and other related competitive examinations. I owned the franchise of IMS Learning Resources for around two years, and that, actually, was the best part of my professional career.

Was invited to judge students’ performances during ‘Tech-fests’ by Gayatri Vidya Parishad and GITAM. Worked for IMS Learning Resources as Centre Head while training the students for CAT. Conducted National Level Quiz competitions for students from all the engineering colleges in and around Visakhapatnam. I conducted Campus Recruitment Programs for students from GMRIT, GITAM and the like.

Worked for Career Launcher and trained students for CAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS and related competitive examinations.

Conducted orientation programs for teachers of rural schools and colleges and shared my knowledge with them. It was very satisfying discussing teaching methodologies, innovative strategies for teaching English (especially, the rural medium students) and focusing on active learning.

Worked with some of the best educational institutions like Vignan , Sri Chaitanya (taught the junior college students). I was entrusted with the responsibility of preparing teaching materials for the students of class tenth by the then District Educational Officer. This material was meant for all the students of Visakhapatnam District.

Worked for Visvodaya Educational Institution teaching primary and pre-primary students. Since this was the beginning of my teaching career, I value this experience. In fact, in my opinion, the best learners are these kids who are very committed to and also enjoy the process of learning. Any day, I would like to teach at this level as I achieved total job satisfaction while teaching these tiny tots.

Though an Andhrite by birth, I was brought up in Maharashtra. A post graduate in English, I have done my doctorate from ‘Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vishwa Vidyapeeth’, Varanasi, on the topic ‘Communication skills in Business Organizations—A study’. I have edited several doctoral theses of scholars from various departments like MBA, Physical Education and Information Technology.
